Since 1 September 2022 we have to follow the Energy Conservation Ordinance 

"Sicherung der Energieversorgung über kurzfristig wirksame Maßnahmen (EnSikuMaV)"

 

In brief, this means:

• Lowering the room temperature by 1 degree = maximum temperature in the office: 19 °C; medium-heavy activity while walking and standing: 16 °C.
• Heating of common areas is prohibited. This includes stairwells, corridors, entrance halls, storerooms, technical rooms - even if this means individually adjusting individual radiators. Toilets and kitchenettes are excluded.
• Switching off hot water for washing hands
• Switching off lights that do not serve security purposes
